Je suis née à Montréal, jeune adulte, j'ai entrepris des études en dessin de mode puis j'ai choisi d’être modèle et ainsi voyager dans différents pays, ce qui a comblé mon désir de découvrir le monde. De retour j'ai poursuivi des études en art du maquillage, j'ai évoluée particulièrement dans le domaine photographique. J'ai participé en tant que créatrice et conceptrice de costumes a travers une création théâtrale pour enfant ( Productions Frisket). C’est en 2002, à travers une formation à l’atelier de Francine Labelle et Yves Durand que j'ai découvert une profonde inspiration pour la peinture. Ainsi la forme et la couleur, mes alliées de toujours, acquièrent ainsi de nouvelles textures. Mes œuvres sont appréciées par des gens venant d’ici et d’ailleurs. Mes tableaux sont en Amérique du Nord, en Europe ainsi qu’en Orient.
I was born in Montreal, as a young adult, I began studying fashion design and then I chose to be a model and thus travel to different countries, which fulfilled my desire to discover the world. Back I continued studies in makeup art, I evolved particularly in the photographic field. I participated as a creator and costume designer through a theatrical creation for children (Frisket Productions).
It was in 2002, through training at the workshop of Francine Labelle and Yves Durand that I discovered a deep inspiration for painting. Thus, form and color, my allies of always, acquire new textures. My works are appreciated by people from here and elsewhere. My paintings are in North America, Europe as well as the Orient.
La peinture conjugue mon envie de jouer avec les formes et les couleurs, tout en vivant le défi de leur rendre justice. L’impact de celles-ci, alliées aux mouvements, me permet, d’exprimer des mémoires en les inscrivant dans la matière, en une forme d’alchimie. Ces traces qui sculptent, qui amassent des textures, je les souhaite surprenantes, étonnantes. Comme l’exige l’attention du moment présent : j’accepte, de rester la, de voir, de rater ma cible, de sortir, de revenir, de reculer, de m’imprégner, de retourner et surtout de continuer. Ronde après ronde, je recherche cet ultime bonheur qu’est l’état d’alpha, celui qui me permet, d’inspirer un mouvement et d’expirer la spontanéité du geste. Alors la, Je vis l’infinie liberté.’’
Painting combines my desire to play with shapes and colors while living the challenge of giving them justice. The impact of these, allied to the movements, allows me to express memories by inscribing them in the material, in a form of alchemy. These traces that sculpt, amassing textures, I wish them surprising, amazing. As the attention of the present moment requires: I accept, to remain there, to see, to miss my target, to go out, to come back, to go back, to immerse myself, to return and especially to continue. Round after round, I seek this ultimate happiness that is the state of alpha, the one that allows me to inspire a movement and expire the spontaneity of the gesture. Then, I live infinite freedom. '
